On Monday, the FDA approved the administration of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for youths ages 12-15.

Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz accompanied his 14-year-old-son Will to get his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The mayor said it was easy and he was relieved to be one step closer to a normal life in school, sports, and time with friends and family. He urged all adults who have not yet gotten the vaccine to do so and all parents to take their kids to get the vaccine.
