All Adults Now Eligible for Booster

Nov 21, 2021

Booster Shot is now Authorized by FDA

and Approved by CDC

On Friday, Nov. 19th, the Food and Drug Administration gave the OK for fully vaccinated Americans ages 18 and older to receive a COVID-19 booster shot. See the article on NPR.

Later that day, the Centers for Disease Control recommended COVID-19 booster shots for all adults. Read the CDC Press Release or the article on NPR.

Also, the CDC strongly encouraged all adults who are not yet vaccinated to get the vaccine as soon as possible to protect themselves, their families, and loved ones. It's a great tool to strengthen our defenses against the virus as we enter the winter holidays.

The V Project wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
