The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced they have authorized a single booster dose for the three COVID-19 vaccines available in the United States (Pfizer/Comirnaty, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) to increase protection against COVID-19.
